Networking Opportunities in Los Angeles: Learning how to network and building relationships with employers is a critical part of success in your career.

YearUp
YearUp brings talented young adults and top companies together to launch careers, power business, and build community. Their program is built specifically for motivated young people with a high school diploma, but no bachelor’s degree.

Service Year
Service Year is a one-year paid service opportunity for young people. It is a great option for students who may be saving for college or in a gap year (or just looking to get into the service space through areas such as healthcare, education, and disaster relief).

ManPower
A resource to connect you to roles based on your skills and experience level — also includes good resources to learn about how your skills and interests connect to specific career opportunities.

WIN-LA
Workforce Initiative Now-Los Angeles (WIN-LA) is Metro’s new workforce development program created to focus on careers in the transportation industry. WIN-LA is a ground breaking initiative that creates career pathways in construction, non-construction opportunities in operations/maintenance, administration and professional services within Metro and throughout the transportation industry. The program provides support for participants in areas such as life skills development; skill set enhancement and educational attainment services. WIN-LA also increases the resources needed for training and placement of “Hard to Fill” positions in our transportation industry.
